Auto-Mechanic
My profession contributes to society for the following reasons. If your car was broken down for example with engine failure, I could try to fix the engine. If I could not fix the engine I would have to buy a new engine and put it in the vehicle. If there was no vehicles of any kind and we had to walk everywhere we would not need auto-mechanics. We would not need auto-mechanics because they would not have anything to do to make money for themselves. Auto-mechanics can make sure there is less pollution in the air from the exhaust pipes so we would not have as much polluted air. If we were to lose vehicles, the people that were overweight would lose some weight, but I don’t think we will be losing our vehicles any time soon.

Would you have to buy the engine or would the customer have to buy it, and then you just install it?

I would have to buy the engine then charge more for the new engine. Josh T.

On a scale from 1 to ten how important would you say auto mechanics are to society? Why?

I would say about an 8 because if a vehicle brakes down or has something wrong with it an auto-mechanic could fix whatever is wrong. Josh
